Join us once again to celebrate great English Whisky with our fully community led awards highlighting the high standard and diversity of English Whisky.
What are the English Whisky Awards?
Inspired by the highly successful Online Scotch Whisky Awards, this new platform seeks to shine a spotlight on the innovation, craftsmanship, and passion driving English whisky to new heights.
Inspired by the same democratic principles, the English Whisky Awards invite whisky enthusiasts from around the world to share their voices, vote for their favorite distilleries, and discover exceptional spirits and brands.
We learnt a lot from our first Awards in 2024 and feel the industry has skyrocketed in the last two years!

While English whisky is still a growing market, it’s reach internationally has been growing rapidly and we wanted to champion this exciting movement. You can also share the word and connect with us on socials to help make this a true community reflection of English whisky 2026.

As this is our second year, the goal is to keep our celebration of English Whisky as smooth and streamlined as possible while building on 2024.
So we now have a total of FIVE categories for 2026:
Best Value English Whisky
One specific bottle of English Whisky that you feel provides you with the best value. This does not mean the cheapest but the one that exceeds in quality in comparison to the cost.
Best New English Whisky Distillery
Select up to three English Whisky Distilleries from the list of all active distilleries which have been founded in the last 8 years. Factor in: Distillery tours, marketing, range of whisky, quality, practices etc
Best English Whisky Distillery
Select up to three English Whisky Distilleries from the list of all active distilleries to date. Factor in: Distillery tours, marketing, range of whisky, quality, practices etc
Best Bottle & Presentation Design
From the branding to the packaging, what English Whisky bottle has the best visual experience and presentation (select a single bottle).
Best English Whisky
The big one. Add in one specific bottle of English whisky that stands out to you as the best English Whisky you have tried.
