Inspired by the same democratic principles, the English Whisky Awards invite whisky enthusiasts from around the world to share their voices, vote for their favorite distilleries, and discover exceptional spirits and brands.

These awards are solely for fun, intrigue and insights which is being fully run and funded by whisky enthusiasts and not experts.
We understand the passion around whisky so we trust you to join us with an open mind as we look to celebrate and promote the best of English Whisky.
Two whisky loving enthusiasts who have fallen for the quality and variety of English whisky and wanted to celebrate what has been achieved!
Launched in 2024 with our first year we were blown away by the response and decided to bring it back in 2026 with these online awards being biennial.
Jeff and Vin are whisky content creators and proud to be part of the online whisky community. For transparency and integrity Jeff & Vin will not be voting.
The focus is for this to be fully community led with a simple form allowing as many people as possible to be involved.
Our aim is to keep the process as smooth and slick as possible while the awards are in the early stages. A Google form will be created where you will be able to either add in your own choices or select from a drop down list.
Once voting has closed we will count up the votes and provide each category a list of 3 runners up and 1 winner in each category. Both the launch and winner announcements will be streamed live on the Jeff Whisky YouTube Channel.
For me (Jeff), it is a simple answer: Yes.
While I am predominantly a Scotch whisky drinker I have been inspired by the rise of “World Whisky” and feel like we need to shine the light on our own regions and celebrate the amazing whisky that has been created. With the standards of whisky rising in one distillery/region/country it encourages others to up their game and ensuring that us the enthusiasts are getting the best out of our whisky.
English Whisky has been one of the largest growing regions in my whisky collection over the last few years and I am excited to celebrate the now and cheers to hopefully a bright English Whisky Future.
