Whisky is not a cheap hobby. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either lying or already remortgaged the house.

That said, hidden among the wallet whippers and hype fuelled price tags are whiskies that deliver far more than they cost. Bottles so good, pound for pound, it’s borderline rude not to own one.

After being repeatedly (and proudly) labelled the cheapest man on WhiskyTube, I’m leaning fully into my comfort zone. No luxury fluff, no investment pieces, just honest, flavour filled whiskies that earn their shelf space without punishing your bank account.

This isn’t a list of just the cheapest whiskies available but a focus on value. Value is not just the price, but how the whisky preforms for that price.
